BODY CONDITIONING

Body Conditioning

This class is specifically designed for men over 60, using weights and working on balance, strength and coordination to help improve muscular tone, and balance.

We specifically add weights to your work out for many beneficial reasons; protecting and building strength to help prevent injury, increasing metabolic rate helps improve coordination and therefore reduces falls risk, weight training has been shown to improve overall mobility and mental sharpness.

Along side gaining many beneficial physical improvements its also a place to work out safely and enjoy the social aspect in our beautiful studio

What will we do?

We will start you off with a warm up, then several sets of exercises to target certain muscles in your body, challenge your coordination and balance.  This varies between some of the same exercises together and then more of a circuit.

Weights are usually added but everything is tailored to your need and more than would like to admit use the balance bars all around the studio as needed and when coordination and balance needs more assistance

What will you gain?

Improved strength, mobility, balance, general fitness and posture awareness as well as hopefully enjoying the banter

How much will it cost?

£10 per class.

If you are unable to see the class you would like on the online booking system it maybe fully booked but sometimes if you check the day before spaces may have become available.

What will you need?

It is recommended that you come along in comfortable clothing you can move freely in, trainers and bring a bottle of water.
